The invitation of Edi Rama for political dialogue between the majority
and opposition is being taken in consideration by the Democratic Party.
The former leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, did not exclude to include in
the dialogue even facilitators.
“I think that dialogue is necessary. Albania has not been able to progress without dialogue. It is not the dialogue itself which is important. But we need to have a productive dialogue. There should be dialogue, but not just for show. The dialogue should have important facilitators for our country so that we can establish dialogue”, Berisha said after the plenary session.
However, the former Democratic Party leader said that the final decision is up to the current leader, Lulzim Basha.
The Socialist Party leader and Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, addressed with an official letter to Lulzim Basha and offered dialogue. This was confirmed by his MP, Taulant Balla.
