Rain and snow precipitations have returned since last night, causing several problems around the country.
Snow in some areas of Korce, Diber, Kukes, Elbasan and Shkoder has reached 40 centimeters, and vehicles can only circulate with chained tires.
No roads have been blocked, but drivers are advised to be careful.
The mountainous areas of Kukes have had several problems, while machineries in the Rruga e Kombit road have kept the passage open.
Rain precipitation has removed snow today from Kukes, but the Rruga e Kombit remains problematic.
The Tirana-Peshkopia and Kukes-Peshkopia road is covered by snow in some parts. Snow machines worked to open the passage near Bulqize this morning. There has been snowfall in deep areas of Sterbleva, 800 meters above the sea level.
In Korce, police say that vehicles at the Qafe-Thana road can drive without tire chains, but they are obligatory in the Qafe-Plloce and Grabovica.
The Qafe-Qarri, Erseka-Leskovik, Korce-Dardhe and Korce-Voskopoja roads have small amounts of snow.
There are problems in the Shkoder-Puka road and some axes in the Dukagjin and Theth areas.
The Transmission System Operator has declared that snow has damaged some electricity lines in north, causing blackouts in Kalimash, Fushe Arrez, Kukes and Bajram Curri.
