After quitting her job as an economist, Dorjana Merkaj decided to follow her passion. In the past three years she dedicated herself to the world of colors.
Her first exhibition was in cooperation with “Different Weekend”, and the revenues of her paintings will be donated to families in need.
Although she is a very young artist, this exhibition shows various genres and techniques of visual art, starting with the classical one, impressionism and even mixmedia.
“I like working with my hands. One of the paintings (Free Spirit) was completely realized with my hands. I like touching paint and placing it on the right place”, Dorjana says.
“We have visited many families and we have seen talents among children who have a passion for paintings. We thought to display their paintings to promote their art”, said Xhfefrei Tola, representative of Different Weekend.
