The Prime Minister of Kosovo declared this Wednesday that any step for creating an army in Kosovo would provoke a military intervention from Belgrade, two decades after the war.
The Parliament of Kosovo is determined to vote the law that turns the Kosovo Security Forces into a proper army, which would allow Serbian member to be part of it as well.
Political representatives of the Serbian communities in Kosovo say that the army could be use to make them leave the country.
Balkan analyst say that the activation of Serbia’s army to Kosovo is very unlikely with a Belgrade that aspires to join the EU.
