The Second Person in charge of the Serbian Prosecution for War Crimes,
Bruno Vekaric, declared that the former KLA commander, Fatmir Limaj,
will be arrested if he leaves the Kosovo territory.

Vekaric decalred that there is an international arrest order for Limaj, for war crimes against the Serbian population in the years 1998-1999.

This means that the police of every country has the duty to arrest Limaj as soon that he will leave the Kosovo territory”, declared Vekaric for the daily Serbian newspaper, Blic.

The Prosecutor underlined that the War Crime Prosecution has investigated over the “Klecka” trial, and has interrogated several witnesses that confirm Limaj’s responsibility.

Vekaric’s declaration comes two days after the Prishtina Court rejected the declarations made on the dairy of Agim Zogaj, also known as “Witness X”, on which were based the accusations against Limaj and other KLA fighters.
