Searches for Julian Cela

Without finding a reason why Ardian Prrenjasi admitted the murder of the
10-year-old Julian Cela, there can be no correct investigation.

One of the most renowned crime experts in Albania, Luan Veliqoti, declared in an interview for Top Channel that the suspect needs a psychological description to start the investigation.

“We need to value the psychological and logical point of view. We should discover the reason why he is accepting this fact. If it is not clear, his word will be taken with a reserve. From the logical point of view, we should see if his confession is something that can happen in real life as he has told it”, Veliqoti declared.

For Veliqoti, this is a very difficult investigation. But he suspects if the vehicle and the basket in which the child was supposedly carried has been investigated.

“They need to inspect the car and the rubbish bin where the killer first dumped the body. There could still be biological prints. This will be difficult, but theoretically it should be done”, Veliqoti declared.

He added that they need an opinion by the anatomy-pathology experts, to find out at what phase the body must be, and there should be more intensive searches.

“The body might have not been decomposed, since it is has been cold and it was covered. More people should engage in the research, not a few police officers and an excavator”, the expert says.

For Veliqoti, the author of the crime must have left some traces somewhere.

“We are not dealing with a crime where the authors have hidden the track. However, since the victim has not resisted, the killer didn’t need to leave a lot of traces behind”, Veliqoti declared.

For Veliqoti, a crime can never be investigated in only one line. Another one should be that of human traffic.
