Saturday’s opposition protest in Tirana, police announces the roads that will be closed tomorrow

On Saturday it isbeen announced that a protest will be held on the main boulevard “Dëşhmorët e Kombit”, called by the leader of the democratic opposition Sali Berisha, while the police have announced that they will block several roads in order to “maintain order”.
The road segments that will be blocked, starting from 15:00 hr, the next day until the end of the rally, are the ones in the centre of the capital as follows:
“Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, “Mother Teresa” square, “Ismail Qemali” street, the intersection of Elbasan street up to “Ibrahim Rugova” street, “Papa John Paul II” street, “Zhan D’Ark” boulevard and ” Bajram Curri”, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with “Ibrahim Rugova” Street.
The police ask for the understanding of citizens by avoiding driving vehicles on these roads, and plead to use alternative routes, in order to avoid confusion, with the aim of not hindering the free movement of citizens.
