Ruli: Food inspection to be increased

The Minister of Agriculture, Genc Ruli, signed an agreement with the Elbasan Municipality for the veterinary sector.
The agreement consists in the inspection of animal products in Albania.
The Minister declared that food safety must have the highest standards, decreasing this way the risk of illnesses.
“In this development phase, the safety problem for the population is resolved for the fact that with the increase of the family revenues and the reduction of poor people, the challenge of the society and state goes to the food safety. Being a country that aspires to join Europe, we must have the highest food safety standards”, Ruli declared.
