Interior Minister of Kosovo, Bajram Rexhepi, declared that the situation
in the country is calm, but fragile, especially in the northern Kosovo,
where there are groups of organized crime.
Speaking in the Parliament, Rexhepi declared that the implementation of law and order are the priorities of his department.
On the other hand, he underlined that there are a series of problems that come as consequence of the smuggling that is happening in the north, which, according to him, could damage the health of the Kosovo citizens.
“Interethnic relations have improved, but in the north it is still in low levels, because there are frequent tensions, caused by criminal groups that are financed by Serbia”, Rexhepi decalred.
