The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared in a joint press release with Oliver Varhelyi that the EU is the only path for the future of Albanians.
The Prime Minister said that the Conference of Donators, which will raise money for the earthquake victims, will be held in Brussels, on February 17th.
“I want to thank Mr.Varhelyi because he was personally committed, after the earthquake situation. He put in motion the mechanism for the first fund, and then we discussed the conference of donators that will be held in Brussels on February 17th.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the progress with the procedures for opening the EU accession negotiations.
“We have discussed further progress with the integration. We will work the same way as if the negotiations were opened, because this is the only path for us, regardless of what the EU decides right now.
“We are concluding our discussions with international experts to open a new offensive against the organized crime, against prosecutors and judges who are there to grab what they can”, Rama declared.
