Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, presented Fadil Nasufi as the “Alliance for the Future” candidate for Mayor of Berat.

Nasufi promised to fully commit himself into developing the city of Berat, especially its cultural legacy.

“Berat will turn into an important touristic center. Let us leave behind the long history of disappointments and on May 8th let us give the real value of the vote”, Nasufi declared.

Rama valued the work of his candidate and emphasized that Socialist Party is the only way for Berat.

“Fadil Nasufi is the Berat that we want, traditional, open, full of good words and a hard working man. This is the only way for Berat, ‘the Alliance for the future’”, Rama declared.

SP leader emphasized the fact that the government has forgotten the cultural legacy of Berat, which can generate economic improvement for the citizens.

“You cannot stay unmoved when you see this cultural legacy and when you read the numbers of this government’s budget on Berat. You understand on the hands of whom this country has fallen. Look how they have abandoned the city and the municipality, how they have abandoned the efforts for preserving this treasure”, Rama confirmed.

He promised that SP projects for the ancient city will bring the much expected changes for its citizens.

“Here, in the middle of this miracle of man, Berat lies in the midst of poverty, unemployment, without giving to its citizens the possibility of living in prosperity. With the projects of the municipality and with Fadil Nasufi, we can change the future not only for the city, but also for every common family of Berat, so that we can turn this city into a city of stable economic development”, Rama added.
