The opposition leader focused his speech at the Socialist Party’s
National Assembly on the program “For a National Rebirth”, which aims to
progress in parallel with new members in the party.
Rama compared the model of the current government with what the SP offers in its program.
“We want real employment, while they offer an increase of unemployment figures. We want to increase honest taxation, they offer a flat tax that suffocates the middle and poor class Albanian. The flat tax divides the businessmen, with 5% of them receiving favors from the government, and all of them with a criminal background. Either an Albanian Rebirth, or we will surrender to a further destruction”, Rama declared.
The Socialist leader declared that the tax system has put the Albanians in a dramatic situation.
“95% of the Albanians are obliged to damage their economies for paying the flat tax. We will reduce taxes for this 95% of the Albanians”, Rama declared.
Rama expressed the concern of the businessmen, how the flat tax is challenged by the state employees.
