Rama: New low-cost Kukes Airport, ready within the next year

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, published the project of the Kukes Airport on Facebook, which is under construction.
According to Rama, the much needed low-cost airport will be completed within the next year.
“I wish you a happy day with a video from the project of the new Kukes airport, where we are working hard to realize it within the next year”, Rama said.
The Kukes Airport was initially built in 2006, but has never been put at use. The government declared that a concession agreement will allow 300,000 low-cost passengers a year.
