The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, considered the reactions of the
opposition after the bombs in Tirana as very law. He accused them of
siding with crime.

In today’s plenary session, the Prime Minister declared that he crime is being used as raw material for political speeches.

“Right after these violent attacks, the opposition attacked the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, and his family, which was targeted by the attacks. The opposition not only did not condemn the terror, but pointed their finger to the Minister’s family, same as the crime, making them their partners”, Rama declared.

According to Rama, this is not the first time that the opposition reacts like this. He said that the government has been accused by the opposition even when they removed the drugs from Lazarat and also when they canceled 53.000 abusive electric bills.

“The opposition must prove accusations in Court”

The Prime Minister declared that they will request a criminalization of slander due to the duty.

He said that the cause for this request are the constant untrue accusations raised against him by the opposition. He asked the DP leaders to prove in court the accusations made so far.

“If the accusations are proved, I will resign. There is no country in Europe where an MP makes criminal accusations and the Prosecutor doesn’t call him to make them formal. Albania cannot continue in the mud of false accusations that were only used by communists and the nazi. Nothing will stop us in the fight against crime”, the Prime Minister declared.
