“Rama blocked integration”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, used the last government
meeting for this year to make a general balance of his cabinet’s work
for the last 12 months. Berisha praised the government for being able to
keep a positive economic growth in a time when Europe is facing an
unprecedented economic crisis.

Berisha blamed the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, for Albania’s failure in receiving the EU candidate status for this year.

Berisha declared that this is unfortunate even for the Socialist Party, saying that they have contributed in the last 20 years for consolidating Albania’s democratic system, and yet they would never do to their country what Edi Rama did, according to Berisha.

The Albanian Prime Minister announced that a detailed balance of the government’s work will be published on the first week of 2013, but he added that the wage and pension increase twice higher than the price index was the best policy for encouraging consumption and defend citizens from crisis.
