The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, appealed students to meet with them and discuss their requests.

Rama said that only if they sit and talk they will be able to have lower fees and a concrete plan for the campus in Tirana.

The Prime Minister also said that he will discharge all board members chosen by the government in universities.

“We can do more than halving fees. Besides halving fees based on meritocracy, we could offer free fees for those who receive economic welfare, and those who have excellent grades”, Rama said.

“There will be a plan for the new campus of Tirana. There will be 18 million EUR of interventions at the current dorms”, Rama said.
