The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and the Parliament Speaker, Ilir
Meta, visited Shkoder in support of Keti Bazhdari, so that she can
transform the city, as they said, like the other cities that have been
governed by the Socialist Party.
Rama brought an example to illustrate the offer of the Alliance for European Albania and the opposition’s coalition.
“The only thing that I remember from the cooperation with the Municipality of Shkoder, is that it took us three weeks to take the key of the stadium and start working. Three weeks for a key that would open an iron door, to enter a place of puddles that has welcomed talents and fans. If it take three weeks for a key, imagine for a project”, Rama declared.
The Prime Minister said that the Democratic Party mayors lack of the will and ideas to resolve the problems of communities they lead. According to him there is a huge difference between the municipalities led by the Democrats and those led by the Socialists. A change that Rama said he had felt this Tuesday more than ever.
The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, declared that Shkoder doesn’t need candidates or political leaders, but its best enterprising product, Keti Bazhdari, to bring a solution through cooperation and not through political conflict.
Meta said that the other alternative promises only political conflicts that do not serve to Shkoder and the community.
“We respect all candidates, but this is about the future of Shkoder, for resolving the solution that you have and reduce them each day”, Meta declared.
