The Majority has been unable to approve the law with 84 votes. The
absence of MPs has obliged the majority to postpone the voting, even the
draft-law for the High Council of Justice.
The six MPs who were not present in that moment are Tom Doshi, Mark Frroku, Parid Cara, Pjerin Ndreu and Vangjel Dule, who have been against some government initiatives in the past days. What they have in common with each other is the discontent about the way how their areas have been divided with the new territorial reform.
When contacted by Top Channel, some of them declared that they were not present due to personal issues, saying that they have no problems with the draft laws.
They say that they will vote in favor in the next session, but what is understood by their stance, is that they do not agree with the territorial reform, which will also be voted next Thursday, together with the draft law for the HCJ.
