Former democratic MP, Belind Kelliçi, has today publicly warned the prosecutors of the SPAK special anti-corruption unit, as according to him, they have turned into “a section of the Socialist Party” in power.
In today’s protest in front of the office of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, Kelliçi reminded the prosecutors that they can be accused of abuse of office.
“If you SPAK prosecutors have decided to finally become a section of the SP, don’t forget that there is also accusations of abuse of office, concealment of evidence, and there are other charges as well. Life is long. Here we are talking about the theft of hundreds of millions of euros from citizens, both yours and SPAK prosecutors, from your children, the socialists, and from those with and without a party.”
According to him, the mayor of Tirana, Veliaj “beats his chest every day that he has his colleagues completely under control, starting from Dumani, Klodian Braho, Dritan Premçi or other prosecutors who have turned into the ugliest image of justice in our country.”
