Tirana Prosecutor Office is facing a dilemma after a failed assassination attempt in Vaqarri prison, where inmate Lili Dulaj was shot and injured in the leg, but another inmate was the real target. Official sources told that most probably the office will deliver the case to the Serious Crimes Prosecution office because the case is a “blood vengeance” assassination attempt and illegal arms possession.
Arrested attackers, Ergys Kolaveri, 25, and his cousin Enea Ceka, 24, are yet to hear the custody measures but prosecutors have not decided yet on the case because the victim was not the real target. They were aiming to kill Gazmir Daci, who is serving prison time for the killing of Valmir Kolaveri and injuring of Robert Kolave, both brothers of Ergys Kolaveri.
