Two activists of the Socialist Movement for Integration party in Vlora were detained today by the police as suspected of being involved in electoral crimes.
In the wiretaps of the Vlora prosecution, turns out that Turkish citizen Abdulgfur Balikci, 23 years old and the Albanian Juriseld Mucaj 24 years old, talked to each other about buying votes and in different periods Muçaj received money from Balikçi, with the intent of buying votes for the SMI from persons known by the latter.
At the time of the arrest, the two activists were seized a notebook, in which were written the names of 15 people, and their mobile phones. Balikçi has been living in Vlora for several years as together with his father, they operate a dental clinic.
