Several supporters of the nine defenders accused of recruiting 70 people
to Syria on behalf of ISIS have gathered today at the Court of Serious
Crimes to follow their trial, which went under very harsh security
measures.
“We were told to remove our belts and hand over our keys. They fear us and God knows what they think about us”, one of the supporters said.
The Prosecution read the request for trial against the two self-declared Imams, Genci Balla and Bujar Hysa, and seven others accused of funding and recruiting 70 people to ISIS.
The Prosecution admitted they do not have a specific number yet about those who have been killed in Syria, although one of the defendants said 17 have died. The defendants keep insisting they don’t want lawyers and that Allah will be their defensor. They say the Prosecution’s accusations have nothing to do with them.
