Project for body-cameras on police uniforms

This Tuesday was presented the project for the body-cameras that will be
used by the State Police officers. PM Edi Rama said that this project
is being realized to transform the State Police and its relation with
the citizens.
“We are working in an unstoppable commitment that allows us to make a huge transformation of the relations between the police and the citizens”, Rama said.
The new government leader valued that officers will be more monitored with this project, and it will serve to the transparency of their work and their safety.
The Minister of Interior stayed on the same line and underlined that the body cameras are first of all an element of security for them.
“The police officers will not be able to make favors or not implement the law”, the Minister said.
