Prifti: New corruption videos

The former Deputy Prime Minister, Ilir Meta, who is under investigation
for active corruption charges, after a video registration that was
released by the former Minister of Economy, Dritan Prifti, will hear the
pretenses of the prosecution this Friday, but he says that it belongs
to the past.

“I am not willing to deal with ordinary issues that belong to the year that we left behind. We are here to take care of bigger and more serious matters”, Meta declared.

The reaction of the former Minister of Economy, Dritan Prifti, was immediate. He held a press conference and declared that he will publish other videos that show other thefts committed by Ilir Meta and his wife, Monika Kryemadhi.

“Ilir Meta presented us the SMI priorities today, and how this New Year will be successful for the Albanians. This hypocrite thief has shown to the SMI leadership a video of me and Beqiri, without audio and with removed clips. He is trying to blackmail me, one day before the Prosecution announces the pretences against him”, says Dritan Prifti.

“Right after the investigations, I will show this video to the Albanians, with audio and even with the parts that Meta has censured, and how he treats the relations with our international friends. There is no salvation for Meta. After he will pay the court to close this case, I will open others for him. No one can blackmail me. The SMI leadership should better hear the complete video, with audio, for having a better understanding of who their leader is”, Dritan Prifti added.

Prifti concluded the declaration by saying that he will make 2012 the year of transparency and truth for anyone who pretends to lead this country.
