The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, reacted after the Special Court in Hague summoned Ramush Haradinaj to be questioned about an investigation for war crimes. The process is based on the controversial report of Dick Marty.
The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, said that this was a regrettable event, and that the values of the KLA, which fought for freedom, will not be damaged by anyone.
“I learned by the media that PM Haradinaj had resigned. As President, I respect his decision and I guarantee that I will act based on my legal and constitutional capacities. I believe in the purity of the KLA war, and in the high moral values of the freedom fighters. Those values and the KLA war will never be damaged by anyone”, Thaci declared.
