The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, decreed the pardoning of Nazime Visha, a request made by the Minister of Justice.
The President said that Visha had served 1/3rd of the sentence and that she has shown signs of repenting and reintegratin.
Nazime Visha was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of Fiqiri Muca, the man who had been having sexual relations with her since she was 14 and who had threatened her with her life.
The Minister had requested the pardoning of Visha, saying she had fulfilled her legal criteria.
