President Nishani met US and EU Ambassadors

The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, met with the US Ambassador,
Donald Lu, and with the Ambassador of the EU Delegation to Tirana,
Romana Vlahutin.
The meeting focused on the official concern raised by the Justice Minister, Petrit Vasili, regarding the competences of the International Monitoring Operation.
Nishani said the judiciary reform is vital for our country, and that’s why he supported it from the beginning and to the consensual vote at the Albanian Parliament.
President Nishani said consensual support is very important for the implementation phase of this reform, and all involved parties must respect the Constitution.
The Albanian President praised the role of international partners, USA and EU, for the realization of this reform through impartial, legal and credible processes, for all Albanian citizens.
