President Nishani appeals parties for dialogue. Majority and opposition respond positively

While the political crisis in our country is going beyond all
predictions, President Bujar Nishani made another appeal for parties to
meet and try finding a solution.
“President Bujar Nishani is following with great concern the proportions that the political crisis is taking in our country. Once again he asks the Prime Minister and opposition leader to sit and start a dialogue, with the will to achieve compromise”, says the press release.
President Nishani offered total commitment from his institution in service of this dialogue.
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said he is ready to answer to Nishani’s appeal, and added that it is even delayed.
“Mr.President, I am also concerned about the crisis of the Democratic Party. I am ready to answer positively to your delayed appeal”, Rama wrote on social networks.
After Rama, the opposition also responded positively. “Although Rama is the cause of this crisis, since he has put his own interests before the country, the opposition reconfirms the readiness for dialogue”, the DP statement says.
