The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, sent a letter to the US President, Donald Trump, regarding Albania’s vote at the UN.
Albania voted in favour of the resolution that criticizes the decision of the US President, Donald Trump, to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, by moving their embassy to the city.
Meta tells Trump to this letter that the vote against Albania’s biggest ally was decided without consulting the President or the Parliament, and it doesn’t reflect the will of the Albanian people, which will never forget the US support in the most difficult moments of their existence.
Meta said that he will personally demand explanations about this stance held by the government.
