The State Inspectorate of Environment and Forests suspended the
activities of ARMO in Ballsh and Fier, after finding serious violations
of the environment rules.

The Inspectorate explains that a working group has made verifications on June 1st, at the Oil Refinery of Ballsh.

They have found violations in the implementation of laws and of environmental rules, by distributing the wastes without control.

The Inspectorate says they have found pollution sources in the water resources, especially in the Gjanica River, which would put at risk the agricultural products.
