A serious event has shaken the northern city of Lezha this morning as a police officer was shot dead by a suspected 21-year-old man who was asked to stop his car at a checkpoint.
The victim is crime officer Saimir Hoxha 44 years old, while the suspected perpetrator of the event Aldi Rama, 21 years old, who left the scene and is now on the run.
It is learned that the murder took place at a checkpoint set up by the police in the Ishull Lezha area, where the police spotted a suspicious car and signaled it to stop.
