The Albanian State Police denied voices that they are keeping the opposition leader and his family members under surveillance, calling it a media speculation.
“The content of the article is a complete media speculation, with the purpose to misguide the public opinion for malicious purposes. It is sad that the article in question seems fabricated from the offices of political parties, not from serious media outlets”, the Police declared.
“We underline that as opposition leader, Basha benefits increased security measure. He is guarded by the National Guard. Valuing the role of media, the police is ready to answer any question of public interest”, adds the Police press release.
