The Tirana Police suspects that the 146 Democratic Party supporters were
poisoned by intentional air polluting, which foresees up to 10 years in
prison.
Police say that the cause of the sickness reported by the participants were the projectors, causing skin rash in the neck and red eyes.
Confidential sources say that the Prosecution is going to investigate for an effort to stop a political party from conducting a regular electoral activity.
The company owning the projector, two of which were seized, say they have used them in other occasions and there have never been problems.
