Pogradec in southeastern Albania is getting ready for a summer season with more tourists than the last, as the city has prepared a 100-day tourist calendar, with artistic, cultural or sports activities in addition to its lake beaches.
Summer seems optimistic for the lakeside city, as bookings have started with vacationers from different cities of the country, from Kosovo or Nordic European countries.
The reduction the number of infections in the country, paves the way for overcoming another challenge which is the growth of the economy and tourism, while the latter is the main hope for some localities.
