The town of Pogradec has opened the tourist season through a festive concert, followed by artisan fairs and traditional cuisine.
Albania’s welcoming southeastern town by the Ochrid Lake has started this summer with plenty of foreign and local visitors.
Present in this year’s ceremony was the Mayor of Struga and other famous personalities.
The Mayor of Pogradec, Eduard Kapri, underlined that tourism in Pogradec has improved each year more. He mentioned the exchange of tourism potentials with Macedonia, which brings more attention to his town’s attractions.
The fair organized this year has brought some of the region’s traditional elements, with artisan women displaying their handmade art work and local food.
