Prime Minister Edi Rama was one of the thousands fans that filled the Lens streets and squares in France.
Top Channel’s jurnalist, Sokol Balla, spoke to him about the game impressions.
“We should have taken at least one point. The team played very well and gave very good impressions”, Rama said.
As for the hopes to pass the group, Rama says that Albania is already qualified by reaching so far.
“We are here to play with dignity and we should not ask our boys to give us the cup. However, there is regret after this match for not taking any point”, Rama said.
Rama praised the behavior of the fans and said that Albanians were expected to cause fear, but they simply brought joy and enthusiasm in the city, different from what was brought by the English fans, who didn’t behave as Europeans, Rama said.
