Montenegro’s NATO accession and Albania’s support to this process has
intensified the meetings between Ministers, Prime Ministers and even
Presidents of both countries.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama traveled to Podgorica and met with his Montenegrin counterpart, Dushko Markovic.
Together with him was the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, three months after hos counterpart Sergjan Darmanovic had visited Tirana three months ago.
The two Prime Ministers valued the good relations between both countries and agreed to hold a joint meeting in Shkoder, focusing on increasing the cooperation between Montenegro and Albania.
