Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke today at a press conference on the economic recovery while promising tax cuts and saying that no school in Albania is built with debt money, but with budget money and funds made available by the EU and others.

“No school in Rep. of Albania is built with debt money. Schools are built with our state and budget money and with the fund made available by the EU and the rest”, said Rama.

The Prime Minister recalled the promise to halve the small business tax, saying that this law will be in force until 2029.

“We recall the tax cuts at the end of 2013, we promised to halve the small business tax and with the fiscal package in 2014 we reduced the small business tax by half. No one one who is not directly related to business can understand this. We made the promise before the Covid quarantine came in force. Until 2029 we guarantee will be no VAT tax for small business. We made it a law in July and not just a promise and we will keep this until 2029”, said the Prime Minister.
