The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, showed how some ministries will
be merged into the new government. He said that there will be no
mechanical merging, but human resources will be tested so that they can
keep the best.
“Human resources are necessary. We will make a very reasonable test for their qualities, which means that if two ministries are merged, its staff will not automatically have to leave”, Rama explained.
The Prime Minister said that the battle against cannabis was won, and that the phenomenon will completely come to an end last year.
“Our international partners confirm that our territory is now clean. The EU was informed real-time about the progress”, Rama said.
The government is preparing for a detailed operation plan to give a final hit to criminal groups, by blocking their financial assets.
“We will extend this process until the last of feudal masters will be brought to justice. Because the history of an Albania divided between feudal masters and ‘strong guys’ is old and unacceptable. Whoever owns large amount of assets and hasn’t worked for a single day in his life, will have to justify the assets or he will rot in prison”, Rama said.
Rama spoke about a possible agreement with Basha in the future, saying that the one of May 18th, 2017, was positive.
“There were some negative aspects, due to the involvement of certain people in that process, but that was very good for the country”, Rama said.
The Parliament will meet this Saturday to hold two consequent sessions that will constitute the new government, which has already gathered in two unofficial meetings in South and North Albania.
