The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, attended a visit at the World
Bank office, where he was received by the President of this institution,
Jim Yong Kim.
In a press release, the World Bank President is quoted of having expressed his optimism for the progress undertaken by the reforms of the Rama government in the path towards regional cooperation.
“I value your leadership for Albania and the entire region. This is very impressive”, Kim declared.
As for the meeting with the German chancellor, the President of the World Bank underlined the opinion of Merkel for the positive moment that Western Balkan is having now, the role of the Albanian government and PM Rama in the development of the region.
The Prime Minister said that the regional cooperation is critical for a stable development in Balkan.
