After their meeting at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana, the two prime ministers held a joint press conference where Hoti said the two countries have the institutional maturity to face any situation.

“We agreed with Prime Minister Rama on 3 ambitious projects. One of the points we agreed on was the issue of Kosovo Customs in Durrës. We discussed the construction of a HPP in Albania to supply energy to Kosovo. We also discussed the ambitious project for the railway that connects Tirana and Pristina”, said Hoti.

Asked about the next round of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Hoti stated:

“I am in constant contact with the US representative Grenell, and we will set another date for the dialogue. Kosovo has the legitimate, constitutional institutions ready to take on the responsibilities that come with it, I am in coordination with Ambassador Grenell. We will meet very soon together in a meeting, on political issues of dialogue. We are entering into mutual recognition and the normalization of relations between the two countries.”
