The government has signed today an agreement with EBRD for agriculture.
Prime Minister Rama said this was historic and it will bring a new
development phase to farmers.
Rama underlined once again the government’s determination to progress with the reforms, which, according to him, have been missing in the past 20 years.
“This investment will be a good encouragement to take the farming sector to a new phase. We need to push these reforms that come 20 years late, and certified by the European family. We find credible partners for Europe to be solidary. This project that we are turning into an agreement today has both our will for modernization, through new methods, and on the other hand, it has the solidarity brought by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.T This project has turned into an agreement for bringing a new and unknown space for investors. This unites EBRD and second level banks, which, thanks to this cooperation, will be more prone to give loans, thanks to the people who want to invest in farms for growing the economy. This program will be an added value in the path to have a stable development in agriculture”, Rama said.
