“Pizza Delivery” is the name of the law that was approved three weeks
ago in Germany to end the illegal flux of immigrants from Western
Balkan, with Albanians reaching the highest number.

This law will enter in effect on January 16th and will allow legal immigrants to work in Germany even if they don’t have a higher education.

The Minister of Social Matters, Blendi Klosi, says the law will have the cooperation of both governments. Albanians will be oriented by the Albanian employment offices to Germany, based on the professions needed there.

The Minister says that every Albanian who has abandoned the asylum seeking process and has returned before October 24th, has the right to apply for the work visa.

Knowing the German language remains a must even with this law.

The Minister discussed the rehabilitation of the 60.000 asylum seekers who will be returned. They will receive counsel and professional courses, and will also be served with food, water and medicaments.

“13.500 citizens have been denied of traveling to the EU countries for not fulfilling the travel conditions”, declared the Deputy Minister of Interior, Ilirjan Mustafaraj.

“This is a violation of human rights. You cannot ban the Albanian citizens from traveling when Europe has given the right of free movement. The reasons why they want to leave are related to the economic situation and human rights in Albania”, said the Democratic MP, Aldo Bumci.

The Foreign Commission organized some sessions for reporting and discussing the flux of Albanian asylum seekers to Germany.
