Mother Teresa University Hospital told the public today that the medical staff at the Infectious Diseases Hospital is making every effort to save the life of the patient who threw himself from the fist floor of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, in another suicide attempt among coronavirus hospitalized patients.
The patient with the initials R.G., 69 years old, is currently under the care of the doctors.
“In these difficult days of dealing with Covid-19, when our doctors are making an extraordinary sacrifice, we assure the citizens that we are on duty and no one will be left without medical care! In these moments, cooperation is needed in conveying information, to help all medical staff who are on duty 24 hours a day, as they have done and will do until the end of this battle!” stated the hospital in its announcement.
This is the fourth and lesser instance when hospitalized patients with Covid-19 have jumped from heights. Unfortunately the previous three cases have been tragic, as patients have passed away immediately after the extreme act.
