The acting Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, declared that all Kosovo citizens who are working with American and other foreign missions in Iraq are sound and safe.
Pacolli underlined that they are closely cooperating with the authorities there, in order to identify all Kosovo citizens in Iraq.
“Many citizens of Kosovo are working at the military bases of the US and the coalition in Iraq, including those who were targeted by Iran’s attacks.
“We are working to identify all Kosovo citizens, and our preliminary information suggests that there are dozens of Kosovo citizens working there.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is keeping close contacts with the authorities to guarantee the security of Kosovo citizens, and we will offer our necessary assistance. So far, all Kosovo citizens are reported to be sound and safe”, Pacolli wrote.
