Prime Minister Edi Rama told yesterday on Top Story that he expects opposition MPs to return to Parliament and vote the vetting law, as they did with the constitutional changes bac in July 2016. “They cannot stop it, not in a tend, not with callings for a new imaginary republic. They will come and vote for it. They will come and vote for it”, he said on Monday evening on Top Story.

The Prime Minister acused the opposition that its protest has goals other than what the proclame. “Under that tend hides fear from the vetting law and also other reasons that make them stay there instead of seeing June 18th as a destination where every political party is obliged to partake and give account”, he added.

“People have plenty of reasons to be unhappy with us, but name me a reason why they should vote to keep in power corrupt prosecutors and judges. The vetting law will not be done by the Socialist Party, it will be done by the Albanians, monitored by international partners who will guarantee it”, Rama said.
