The Democratic Party leader commented the recent criminal events n our
ountry and said that gangsters are dictating political decisions to
steal public assets.
Lulzim Basha said that the Democratic Party will continue encouraging the investigation of the Shullazi case, will support the prosecutors and will watch every step of Edi Rama’s government.
He accused Rama of punishing former Prime Minister Berisha without any legal foundation, but on the other hand, he has defended Shullazi. “The first result of this protection is the intimidation of some witnesses”, Basha said.
He warned that the DP will do everything possible institutionally so that the change among Prosecutors turns into the first act of the justice reform.
“Rama must tell us why he delayed this reform for two years, and why he is delaying it even now. He is going against every honest citizen, may he be Democratic or Socialist, and against our partners, the USA”, Basha said.
