Only 37% of debts come from formal banks

The financial income for Albanian families has dropped during the second semester of 2017, according to a poll of the Bank of Albania. On the other hand, spending has increased and it is more difficult to cover them. Around 28% of the families declared that they have loans to pay.
Only for 37% of loans, families have addressed to formal sources. In 63% of the cases it is from informal sources.
According to polls, most of the debts are taken for consumption, property and only 12% for business.
Most of the loaning families have declared that their ability to pay has not changed during the second half of 2017. The rest declare that the situation got worse.
