Right after Arta Marku handed over her office as Prosecutor General, Olsian Cela thanked her predecessor by saying that she gave her best in these conditions and that the country is entering a new phase, with new justice institutions being built.
“The Prosecution has gone through some radical changes. This requires a new conception of how this institution must work. The Prosecutor has the capacity to give the country a better future so that Albania can become part of the EU family. The Prosecutor General now has the possibility to contribute with new ideas”, Cela declared.
