The dialogue between the Prime Ministers of Kosovo and Serbia ended
without an agreement in Brussels. According to EU sources, although the
parties have agreed on some elements about the situation in north, they
will continue the consultations in technical levels before meeting
again.

“This meeting had a productive spirit in the efforts to find a solution for northern Kosovo conform the laws and Constitution of Kosovo; for the dissolution of the parallel structures as soon as possible; for law and order; for a functional judiciary and for the necessity to organize free elections in the four northern communes, based on the Kosovo law and with the management and organization of OSCE”, Thaci declared.

Catherine Ashton emphasized that the progress marked in the two-days dialogue was satisfactory for both Prime Ministers, which was also confirmed by Dacic.

“I want to underline that this is a good spirit to move towards the solution of the problems that have been created in the last 13 years in that part of Kosovo”, Thaci declared. The next meeting will be held on March 4th in Brussels.
